In October of 2025 I traveled to Kyrgyzstan in central Asia for an evangelism project. This country has a strong Muslim influence and there were stories of harsh treatment and beatings toward Christians. The church I worked with did not have planned visits arranged for me so on most days I was sharing the gospel in restaurants and coffee shops with friends of my interpreter. During these visits no one made a decision for salvation. We did have a few evening visits in homes that resulted in four salvations. I also had some opportunities for evangelism training with some of my American teammates.
